Set yourself up for success. Start planning now. Here’s what you need to do:

1.  Meet with your academic advisor to discuss the Beam Reach program dates, as well as any deadlines and policies related to off-campus study.

2.  Contact your off-campus study and financial aid offices to determine what you need to do and when. Some schools require that you petition to study off campus.

3.  Apply early. We operate a rolling admissions process, which means first-qualified, first-accepted. You’ll have the best chance of being accepted into your first-choice program if you apply early. We begin accepting applications about one year in advance of the program start date.

Prerequisites:

We do not have academic prerequisites. We expect each participant to have the academic and personal maturity of an advanced undergraduate. We welcome applications from undergraduates, post-baccalaureates, and graduate students.
